Great race report! Ha funny, such a different mentality from running isn’t it? I can completely relate to it… while not 100% understanding the bike side of it! I also debated for months about proper gearing for my 70.3 up the beast… all the while I didn’t even know what was on my bike. (Turns out it was smart move to get out of 11-23 for an 11-28!) Way more stuff to think of than simply putting on our running shoes! You are doing awesome at this and love to hear how you improve each time.. and can just shake off a crash!

It was great to see you three coming around in a chain the first couple of laps. I was cheering you on for your teamwork. I also saw you tumble in the sand pit and break your spokes…your coach looked really worried as you rode off, but I thought that it was pretty cool that you did so as seemingly unflustered as you did. Great race and great blog entry.
